Deep Roots Healing Gardens
A Sanctuary in the Backyard
Deep Roots Healing Gardens is in the heart of the property, containing an abundance of flowers, herbs, fruit trees, rose gardens, lavender labyrinth, and multitudes of sculptures, some of which I have created in my ceramic studio.
One of the greatest passions in life is connecting to the land, to steward it in a loving way that gives back more than I take. The small two acre parcel I have the honor to tend has been an evolving practice of love. Communing with the nature spirits, cohabitating and reestablishing a place balance between humans, flora, fauna, soil, and water is what my aim is. The ultimate goal is to enhance the natural landscape with permaculture practices that allow for the land to heal from hundreds of years of neglect and mismanagement. I infuse the land daily with my anchoring-in meditation practice, which amplifies the lands ability to heal, as well as mine.
